Hitachi Energy Dosquebradas, Risaralda, Colombia is seeking an Engineering Assistant to support design and manufacturing of power transformers. You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Production to ensure accurate material data, documentation, and project information across the manufacturing process.

Formación

• Requires technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
• Experience managing technical databases and engineering documentation.
• Intermediate English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Create and release Bills of Materials (BOMs) and material master data in SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintain and update engineering project information and technical documentation.
• Coordinate communication between Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Production teams.
• Compile instruction manuals, quality certifications, technical protocols, and project documentation.
• Manage and update technical databases and supplier catalogs.
• Create new material records and support engineering data management activities.
• Prepare technical drawings and planimetry for the procurement of metal-mechanical components.
• Monitor engineering KPIs and support performance reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
