Job summary

World Business Lenders is seeking an entry-level Cloud Engineer to help deploy, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure under the Infrastructure & Security Manager. Strong Azure exposure and IaC skills are preferred. This fully remote role aligns with US Eastern business hours.

Candidates should have foundational cloud knowledge, scripting ability, and excellent English communication. Prior experience is not required, but a proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong spoken and written English.
• Foundational knowledge of cloud computing, networking, DNS, IAM, and Windows/Linux administration.
• Practical exposure to cloud platforms via coursework, labs, internships, or employment.

Responsibilities

• Provision and maintain cloud resources using approved configurations and change procedures.
• Support VMs, storage, networking, and services hosting WBL applications.
• Monitor availability, performance and resource usage; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain backups and assist with restore testing and DR exercises.
• Apply patches and security settings; coordinate with Cybersecurity to address vulnerabilities.
