Job summary

CI&T, a global technology consultancy, is seeking a Mid-Level .NET Engineer to design, build and maintain robust back-end services. You will work with a multicultural team across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA, coding in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server, with English as the daily language.

You will implement SOAP/REST APIs, perform tests, contribute to CI/CD, and mentor junior engineers while staying current with evolving patterns and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in production systems.
• Hands-on backend development using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Experience implementing SOAP and RESTful services with versioning and best practices.
• Strong understanding of ADO.NET, SQL Server, database design and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in XML serialization/deserialization.
• Solid software design patterns and engineering best practices.
• Experience with unit and integration testing, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Effective communication in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
• Advanced English proficiency (all communications in English).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET and SQL Server
• Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs, ensuring proper versioning, security and best-practice standards
• Ensure service reliability through unit and integration tests, troubleshooting, monitoring and root-cause analysis
• Collaborate on integration between multiple systems and services, applying appropriate software design patterns
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical feedback and mentor junior engineers
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve existing solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and best practices to increase development efficiency and deployment quality
