Bogota Public Schools in Bogota, New Jersey is seeking a New Jersey-certified Physics Teacher to join our high school science department. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction that promotes scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and inquiry-based learning while supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.

Formación

• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification in Physics (Standard or CE/CEAS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience with inquiry-based, hands-on, and phenomenon-based instruction.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous physics instruction aligned to the NJSLS.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including students with IEPs and ELLs.
• Assess student learning using formative and summative assessments and use data to guide instruction.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with the science department on curriculum development and vertical alignment.
• Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school-based initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and staff regarding student progress.
