Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Distinguished Engineer (Node.js, AWS) to set technical direction for a growing AWS-hosted platform. You will turn product goals into working software and influence teams across the organization.

You will design event-driven microservices, mentor senior engineers, and collaborate with end users to clarify requirements while advancing AI-assisted development.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Deep expertise in event-driven microservices architectures in production.
• Extensive background with AWS-hosted platforms.
• Experience taking software to production and owning its operation.
• Practical use of AI-assisted development tools.
• Comfort collaborating directly with end users.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a product capability from design through delivery and ongoing operation.
• Deliver working software from product goals.
• Set the architecture and engineering practices for event-driven services on AWS.
