Mastercard is seeking a Director, AI & Data Strategy – Integrations to lead the company's AI and data strategy, focusing on Recorded Future data, cyber threat intelligence, and AI-enabled capabilities across products and services.

You will partner with Product, Cybersecurity, Technology, Privacy, Legal, Governance and Risk teams to ensure responsible data use, governance, and regulatory alignment while driving growth and value for customers.

Formación

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, data strategy, data governance, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, fraud, identity, risk management, threat intelligence, or security-related products.
  • Experience evaluating third-party data assets, usage rights, licensing models, and commercialization opportunities.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
  • English language proficiency required.

Role Overview

The Director, AI & Data Strategy will lead Mastercard's AI and data strategy efforts supporting the integration and enablement of Recorded Future capabilities across Mastercard's product and services portfolio. This role will focus on cyber threat intelligence, AI-enabled capabilities, data rights, governance, and commercialization opportunities that create value for customers and drive business growth. The successful candidate will partner closely with Product, Cybersecurity, Technology, Privacy, Legal, Governance and Risk teams to evaluate and operationalize data and AI assets while ensuring alignment with Mastercard standards, regulatory requirements, and responsible AI principles.

Role
  • Lead Mastercard's AI and data strategy efforts supporting the integration and enablement of Recorded Future data, cyber threat intelligence, and AI capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage threat intelligence, cyber risk data, and AI-driven insights to support product innovation, customer value creation, and revenue growth.
  • Partner with Product, Cybersecurity, Technology, Privacy, Legal, and Risk teams to develop and execute strategies for data, AI, and intelligence assets.
  • Evaluate third-party data rights, licensing considerations, usage restrictions, and commercialization opportunities associated with external data assets.
  • Support AI governance, data governance, privacy, and security initiatives to ensure responsible and compliant use of data and AI capabilities.
  • Define data requirements, usage strategies, and governance approaches for new products, services, and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide leadership of complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders, priorities, and workstreams.
  • Support development of new use cases, product concepts, and innovation opportunities enabled by data and AI.
  • Communicate strategic recommendations, business opportunities, and risks to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
All About You – Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, data strategy, data governance, product development, mergers and acquisitions, or related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with cybersecurity, fraud, identity, risk management, threat intelligence, or security-related products and services
  • Experience evaluating third-party data assets, usage rights, licensing models, and commercialization opportunities
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving business, product, technology, legal, privacy, security, and risk stakeholders
  • Strong program leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting AI-enabled products, analytics solutions, machine learning initiatives, or AI governance programs
  • Excellent written, verbal, and executive communication skills
  • Ability to influence, align, and drive outcomes across large organizations
  • As this candidate will work with global teams, proficiency in English language is required
