Job summary

White Circle is seeking a DevRel Lead to steer engagement with engineers and researchers. You will ship technical content, run hackathons, launch Halo and related tools, and forge partnerships across AI labs and tooling companies.

You'll join a small, fast-moving team, work remotely with US hours, and help shape the AI safety ecosystem by making our platform indispensable to developers.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background as software/ML engineer or researcher.
• Experience at a technical product company, ideally in dev tools or AI.
• Organised hackathons, meetups, or technical events with measurable turnout.
• Engaged following among engineers/AI researchers on technical platforms.
• Knowledge of AI tooling landscape and open-source models.

Responsibilities

• Own White Circle's developer relations strategy and audience reach.
• Lead technical launches for open-source releases and tools.
• Write and publish technical content: blogs, tutorials, demos, threads.
• Organise hackathons, meetups, and events in SF and New York.
• Build and grow a technical community around our open-source work.
• Set up technical partnerships with AI labs and dev tools companies.
• Collaborate on promo and product videos with design teams.
• Track metrics like signups, repo stars, and event turnout.
