Bluelight is a leading software consultancy expanding across the Americas. We seek a senior DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps professional to design and optimize cloud-native platforms, implement robust CI/CD, and ensure security and compliance.

You will collaborate with diverse teams to deliver high-quality applications for clients. The role emphasizes hands-on AWS, IaC, containerization, and observability, with ample opportunities for growth, learning, and remote collaboration across time zones.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Terraform or CloudFormation experience.
• Docker and ECS/Fargate containerization experience.
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation experience.
• Security-first mindset; audit readiness (SOC 2 or similar).
• Ability to overlap US business hours.

• 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3)
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with deployment automation and tested rollback paths, including rollback drills
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar)
• Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets
• Security-first mindset: experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices
• Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews
• Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis
• Substantial background working with large, complex systems
• Ability to overlap US business hours

• Experience in compliance-sensitive or audit-heavy domains (e.g., fintech, telecom/TCPA compliance)
