Blacksmith Agency LLC is hiring a Design Systems Engineer to own how client design systems are built. You will extract patterns from brands and reference sites into a working system of tokens, variables, modes, and core components for a build pipeline.

This is a senior, systems-first role focused on fast, correct implementation across multiple client brands, with a remote setup for Latin America and overlap with US hours.

Qualificações

• 4+ years designing for the web with real design system work in your portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout and variants.
• A portfolio where work looks different across clients but is underpinned by the same rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsabilidades

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
