BairesDev in Colombia is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines across large datasets, leveraging Apache Spark and Databricks to deliver robust lakehouse and warehouse solutions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure data integrity, and optimize workloads for performance and cost across cloud environments. This 100% remote role offers USD compensation and flexible schedules for a global team.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
Proven expertise in building and managing data pipelines using Apache Spark and Databricks.
Strong proficiency in large-scale data processing and optimization.
Hands-on experience with cloud data architectures and data modeling.
Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities
