Capgemini Engineering in Colombia seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead cross-functional AI/ML initiatives and drive the enterprise-wide AI vision. You will own end-to-end model development and productionize solutions in Azure ML and Databricks, while translating technical insights into business value.

The role requires strong Python, Spark, SQL and ML tooling skills, plus experience in experimental design and cross-functional communication with stakeholders.

Formación

• Hands-on data science experience delivering production-grade ML solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Spark/Delta, SQL, Azure ML, Databricks, and MLflow.
• Familiarity with model interpretability tools and experimental design.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end model development for pricing, demand forecasting and elasticity estimation.
• Productionize models in Azure ML and Databricks; maintain feature stores and drift checks.
• Implement prescriptive analytics via optimization and ML methods.
• Design/execute A/B tests to measure revenue impact and pricing uplift.
• Explain model drivers to Revenue Management with SHAP/LIME.

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead cross‑functional AI/ML initiatives and drive our enterprise‑wide AI vision and strategy. This role bridges tactical execution and long‑term strategic planning, requiring a visionary who can work both independently and collaboratively with data analytics professionals across and outside our client AI/ML solutions.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Owning end‑to‑end model development for pricing, demand forecasting, and elasticity estimation; productionizing models in Azure ML and Databricks
• Implementing prescriptive analytics through optimization with Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming or Reinforcement Learning
• Implementing and maintaining feature stores, model monitoring workflows, and drift checks using MLflow (metrics, alerts, lineage)
• Designing and executing A/B tests or quasi‑experiments to measure revenue, pricing uplift, and PCP attach rate impact
• Applying SHAP/LIME and other model interpretability tools to explain drivers of model behavior to Revenue Management partners

Your profile:

• 2–4 years of hands‑on Data Science experience delivering production‑grade ML solutions
• Proficiency in Python (scikit‑learn, XGBoost), Spark/Delta, SQL, Azure ML, Databricks, and MLflow; familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow is a plus
• Strong understanding of experimental design, statistical testing, and causal inference basics
• Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights; skilled in stakeholder alignment and cross‑functional communication
• Experience communicating insights, assumptions, risks, and trade‑offs in clear, concise, and executive‑ready narratives
