Berg Search is looking for a Data Migration Engineer to design, manage, and optimize complex data migrations for an anti-CRM built for recruitment professionals. This role emphasizes autonomous work with minimal meetings and a focus on delivering results.

You will build ETL/ELT pipelines and develop data transformation and modeling practices, leveraging AWS Redshift, DBT, Fivetran, SQL, and Python to handle large datasets in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsabilidades

• Data migrations: design, manage, and optimize complex migrations.
• Pipeline development: develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using DBT, AWS, and Redshift to efficiently manage and transform large datasets.
• Data transformation & modeling: build a deep understanding of recruitment CRMs (people, projects, companies) so the thought process becomes second nature
• Documentation & process creation: establish clear, efficient processes for data handling and write documentation for end-to-end pipeline management.
• Core stack: AWS Redshift, DBT, Fivetran, SQL, Python.

On behalf of our client, an anti-CRM built solely for recruitment professionals, we are currently looking for a Data Migration Engineer.

What you would do:

• Data Migrations: Design, manage, and optimize complex data migrations,
• Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes using DBT, AWS, and Redshift to efficiently manage and transform large datasets.
• Data Transformation & Modeling: Build a deep understanding of recruitment CRMs (people, projects, companies) so the thought process becomes second nature
• Documentation & Process Creation: Establish clear, efficient processes for data handling and write documentation for end-to-end pipeline management.
• Core Stack: AWS Redshift, DBT, Fivetran, SQL, Python.

What you have:

• Migration experience is a plus: You don't have to have done migrations, but you need to have enough experience to work autonomously (ask for forgiveness, not permission)
• Intelligent: These complex problems require a degree of IQ (we will use cognitive assessments for this role)
• Dislike meetings: You prefer fewer meetings, with high quality, rapid alignment and then focus time to deliver your tasks.
• You enjoy the unknown: We expect you to be able to hack your way through migrations, gain an understanding of data models as you go and deliver projects through repeated trial and error (we do not have much documentation as we are a young company)
• You want to work harder than average: In return for equity much greater than average
