AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a data engineer in Medellín, Colombia to build and optimize data pipelines, design Snowflake data models for analytics, and enhance observability. The role involves creating dashboards, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering actionable business insights.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data modeling, strong SQL and Python, experience with Airflow and dbt, and familiarity with AWS S3. A hybrid work setup with flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data modeling principles, especially Kimball.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience using dbt for data transformation, modeling and testing.
• Experience consuming APIs and integrating data with Snowflake.
• Ability to develop simple Tableau dashboards.
• Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD workflows for CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AWS services, especially S3.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Innovative and productivity-driven mindset, eager to automate processes.
