Job summary

Intellias Colombia SAS is seeking a senior data engineer focused on data integration, ETL/ELT, and data platform development. You will work with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and Microsoft Fabric to build scalable pipelines, integrate ERP data, and support modernization efforts.

The role emphasizes data engineering over dashboards, with a remote-friendly setup and additional benefits including training and work-from-home support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing, or BI development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience developing and supporting SSIS packages and ETL processes.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Fabric components such as Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, or Dataflows Gen2.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data integration, and data transformation.
• Experience with relational database design and data warehousing concepts.
• Ability to develop and optimize stored procedures, views, functions, and complex SQL queries.
• Experience troubleshooting data pipelines, scheduled jobs, and integration failures.
• Understanding of data validation, error handling, monitoring, and data quality.
• Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data integration solutions using SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSIS.
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines in Microsoft Fabric.
• Integrate data from ERP systems, applications, APIs, databases, and files.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Support migration and modernization of legacy data workloads toward Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement data validation, monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines and scheduled ETL processes.
• Support data warehouse and Lakehouse structures for downstream analytics.
• Collaborate with BI, application, and business teams on data requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL, Data Warehousing, or BI development.
