ScotiaTech is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and lakehouse solutions on Azure for international banking. You will act as hands-on technical lead, owning end-to-end solution design, documentation, and production-grade code delivery.

You will mentor a team of Data Engineers, lead design reviews, and collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Owners, and Platform teams to translate business needs into scalable data products.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, including production data solutions on Azure.
• Experience as a technical lead with design reviews and supervising data engineers.
• Experience designing data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, and related Azure services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, test, and optimize data pipelines and lakehouse solutions on Azure; support scalable data products for International Banking.
• Lead end-to-end solution design, documentation, and production-grade code delivery.
• Mentor and develop a team of Data Engineers; lead code/design reviews and foster engineering excellence.
