CINC Systems is a fully integrated, cloud‑based homeowners’ association accounting and property management platform. The Data Engineer will support client data onboarding, ensuring accuracy and reliability across data staging, loading, and analysis to benefit implementation teams.

Responsibilities include ETL improvement, data cleansing, and developing SQL-based tooling and Python scripts. You will partner with Project Managers to optimize client deliverables and data sources.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analysis or Business Analysis, Database development or administration, Tech support.
• Programming or previous Data Engineer work a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze, format and import data by pulling integrated data sets, reformating, and importing into CINC database.
• Support and improve ETL processes, document results, and help build future ETL processes.
• Reporting, data cleansing, and analysis to ensure data is up to date and clean.
• Develop and maintain SQL-based tooling, Python scripts, VBA/Excel macros, and AI-assisted automations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage data sources, reports, tasks, and prioritization.

Data Engineer – Client Operations

CINC Systems is a fully integrated, cloud‑based homeowners’ association accounting and property management platform. As the largest SaaS provider in our space, we continue to scale our products, tooling, and implementation capabilities to support a growing and increasingly complex client base.

Our team is building the future, and the Data Engineer will be a critical part of implementing client data, reliably and with a high degree of accuracy. This unique role will support our CINC implementation Project Managers and client onboarding. The Data Engineer reports to the Director of Data Operations and supports all operational stages of implementation of new clients and new modules. Our team combines raw information from different sources to create clean, consistent data for our onboarding clients. These areas include data staging, loading, analyzing, management, data manipulation for our accounting application, and image creation for our CINC custom mobile apps. Our Data Operations Team works together on the evolution of our data tools, and we are looking to add the right person to our growing team. Our over‑arching team objective is to free up implementation resources by building efficient, scalable deliveries for implementations and operational activities. What You’ll Do:

• Analyze, Format and Import Data: Dive into existing customer systems, pull integrated data sets, review data, reformat, provide findings and insights to the client, and import data into the client’s CINC database.
• Support and improve ETL processes: Work with our reliable processes to extract, transform, and load data, document and QA the results, learn our existing documented processes and help us build our future ETL processes.
• Reporting, Data Cleansing, and Analysis: Support ad-hoc reporting, data scrubbing, and customer‑facing data analysis and clean‑up, ensuring data is up to date and clear of outdated information.
• Develop and Maintain Scripts and Tools: Write, execute, and maintain SQL‑based tooling, Python scripts, VBA/Excel macros, and AI‑assisted automations.
• Partner with Project Managers: Work closely with the Project Management team to maximize the efficiency of the implementation process, including managing the inventory of client deliverables such as data sources, reports, task requirements and prioritization.

• Detail Oriented Organization: Planning, organizing and effective time management skills, with the ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
