Phoenix Tower International is seeking a corporate legal advisor to provide internal legal counsel across the company’s operations, including contracts, corporate documents, permits, and regulatory matters related to telecom infrastructure.

The role requires translating complex legal concepts for internal teams, coordinating with external counsel and authorities, and ensuring timely, accurate documentation and file management. Willingness to travel within the territory is expected.

Formación

• Have a valid and current legal title issued by the competent authority.
• Have a valid professional attorney card or license to practice law, as applicable.
• More than 5 years of professional experience practicing law in real estate matters and administrative proceedings.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local regulations.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Availability to travel within the territory.

PURPOSE:

Responsible for providing corporate legal advice to PTI’s internal teams, leading the review, drafting, negotiation and management of contracts, corporate documents, notarial and registry matters, permits, administrative proceedings and other legal matters related to the company’s operations. The role requires strong legal judgment, the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment with internal teams, authorities, consultants and external counsel, as well as the proper management of legal files, reports and any other legal activities assigned.

FUNCTIONS:

• Draft, review, negotiate and close corporate and contractual legal documents, including lease agreements, contractor agreements, real estate purchase agreements, usufruct agreements, letters of intent and any other documents required for the company’s operations.
• Provide legal advice to internal teams, ensuring that business decisions and documents have appropriate and timely legal support.
• Prepare, review and coordinate corporate documents, legal reports, progress updates, trackers and other materials required to monitor goals, projects and legal matters under the role’s responsibility.
• Coordinate and follow up on notarial, registry and public registry procedures, ensuring the proper formalization, registration and preservation of the company’s documents.
• Manage the obtainment, review and analysis of certificates, permits, licenses and authorizations required before environmental, municipal, aeronautical, fire department and other competent authorities for the operation of telecommunications infrastructure.
• Represent and support the company in administrative proceedings before municipal authorities and other public entities, coordinating the applicable legal strategy and following up on the corresponding requirements.
• Serve as liaison with external counsel, local consultants, notaries, authorities and internal teams, coordinating deliverables, response times and the technical quality of assigned matters.
• Maintain the company’s legal file updated, organized and complete, ensuring proper custody, traceability and availability of relevant legal documentation.
• Identify legal risks associated with contracts, permits, assets, administrative proceedings and corporate documentation, proposing mitigation alternatives and timely escalation of critical matters.
• Perform any other legal duties assigned in accordance with the nature of the role and the company’s needs.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Position works in a standard office environment. Standing, sitting, and walking are required daily. Job will involve minimal international travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
