Turner & Townsend in Medellín seeks a Contract Administrator to oversee the full lifecycle of contract management, aligning with project objectives and best practices. You will lead bidding processes, review and consolidate documentation, and coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, H&S and project controls to keep contracts on track.

Formación

• Experience managing contracts through full lifecycle.
• Ability to analyze bids and identify risk areas.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders across engineering, QA/QC, and H&S.
• Maintain contract documentation and change control.
• Monitor schedules and payments under contract terms.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze contracting strategies and packaging approaches for fabrication and goods-related scopes.
• Prepare and review bidding documents; identify exposures and risk areas.
• Conduct market research to identify potential bidders and prepare bidder lists.
• Lead bidding processes and coordinate internal stakeholders.
• Perform technical and commercial evaluations of bids based on criteria.
• Conduct risk and SWOT analyses of potential awardees.
• Lead kickoff meetings and ensure actions are tracked and closed.
• Review and consolidate contractor documentation for contract initiation.
• Monitor contractor’s technical and administrative compliance with teams.
• Analyze schedule deviations and support recovery planning.
• Respond to correspondence with input from technical/service specialists; maintain logs.
• Review and approve/reject payment certificates with input from technical/service areas.
• Process change requests and resolve them per contractual terms.
• Update risk registers throughout contract execution.
• Identify and escalate internal alerts regarding potential claims.
• Maintain professional communication with contractor’s counterpart.
• Manage technical and financial close-out processes.
• Conduct post-execution contractor evaluations.
• Capture and document lessons learned.
