Arup is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern in Colombia to assist senior staff on road design, infrastructure planning, and engineering design considerations. You will collect data, prepare internal and external reports, and present findings to diverse audiences while learning industry trends and best practices.

Ideal candidates are working toward a Civil Engineering degree, fluent in English, and eligible to work in Colombia.

Qualificações

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) required.
• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic programming and quantitative analysis skills (e.g., Python).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and ability to understand project, client, and stakeholder contexts.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior staff on projects related to road design, civil infrastructure planning, and engineering design considerations.
• Support research, technical analysis, and administrative tasks including data collection and report preparation.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines and project managers to support delivery of tasks and objectives.
• Present technical information and findings clearly for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civil engineering and sustainable construction.
