Job summary

AECOM in Medellín, Colombia is seeking a BIM Coordinator to lead digital delivery on complex international projects. You will implement BIM strategy, manage multi-discipline coordination, model validation, and support project teams using Navisworks, Revit, ACC/Forma, and ProjectWise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Design Technology or Construction Technology, or related discipline.
• 2+ years in BIM Coordinator and Digital Delivery field.
• Portfolio of building projects as BIM Coordinator.
• Experience executing multi-discipline coordination, clash detection and issue management; advanced user of Navisworks, Revizto, ACC/Forma.
• Experience with ISO19650 framework and related documentation.
• Experience with Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bentley ProjectWise.
• International experience with global project teams and exposure to diverse regions.
• Fluent in English (oral and written) at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• BIM Implementation Execution – execute the BIM Implementation strategy on complex international projects.
• CDE Admin – provide CDE administration to project teams, manage permissions, model setup in Autodesk Forma and ProjectWise.
• Multi-Discipline Coordination – support and execute project coordination workflows, create federated model, lead clash detection and BIM coordination meetings.
• Information Management – coordinate smart object metadata and classification codes with asset information databases.
• Technical Support – guidance on 3D modeling and data management using Bentley and Autodesk suites.
• Scan-to-BIM – integrate Point Clouds and implement Scan-to-BIM workflow.
• 4D Simulation – produce 4D construction simulations with Navisworks/Synchro.
• Content Creation – develop smart object content libraries and templates; maintain content repositories.
• Collaboration – align BIM standards across regions and teams.
