NielsenIQ in Bogotá seeks a Finance professional to execute revenue-related processes, including order validation, billing, revenue recognition, and accounting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and NIQ policies.

You will collaborate with Revenue Assurance, Billing & Revenue leaders and Order Management to generate month-end reports and support audits across markets. English fluency and a finance background are required.

Formación

• Understanding of Revenue processes and accounting (Order Management, CRM, Billing, Collection and Cash Application).
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
• Fluency in English and local language mandatory; other regional language preferred
• Excellent team player and good communication skills
• Self-Starter, creative and with good autonomy
• Experience in multinational, multicultural environment and remote collaboration
• 2+ years of experience within finance

Responsabilidades

• Work with Revenue Assurance and Billing & Revenue Leader to support their deliverables.
• Prepare activities as per Global & Regional agenda.
• Validate accuracy of orders received in SAP from CRM.
• Partner with Order Management to ensure SAP orders comply with US GAAP and NIQ policies.
• Process Customer invoicing and Invoice Cancellation/Credit Note creation.
• Process Revenue recognition.
• Prepare Billing and Revenue related reports.
• Perform billing/revenue controls.
• Prepare accruals, provisions, write offs and reconciliations.
• Generate month end reports on unbilled/deferred balances per US GAAP/Stat rules.
• Raise issues inconsistent with NIQ policies and US GAAP rules.
• Support markets during audits and collection of audit documentation.

• Process Revenue recognition
• Preparation of Billing and Revenue related reports
• Responsible for performing billing/revenue controls.

• Raise any detected issues that are not consistent with NIQ policies and US GAAP rules

Job Description

Responsible for executing and delivering all revenue related processes and tasks for the assigned markets/clusters, including sales order and contract validation, billing, revenue recognition and accounting. Maintain compliance with global standards. This position reports to the Billing & Revenue Team Leader/Manager.
