A global brokerage firm in Bogotá is seeking a Claims Customer Service Representative to manage customer inquiries regarding claims. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English, has at least one year of experience in a contact center, and possesses strong typing and customer service skills. This role does not require a license, allowing focus on customer education and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment.

Our Claims Customer Service Representatives are responsible for handling claims inquiries in a fast‑paced environment while resolving customer concerns and questions. This role does not require a license so your primary responsibilities will be limited to inquiries on claim statuses and forwarding calls to appropriate claim staff.

How you’ll make an impact
  • Demonstrate outstanding listening skills while exhibiting excellent customer service, patience, and empathy to promote the company reputation of integrity.
  • Answer incoming phone inquiries from clients, claimants and medical providers about claims information.
  • Forward calls as needed to Resolution Managers and claims staff.
  • Prevent and defuse situations through research, customer education and exploring alternative solutions to ensure a successful resolution.
About you
  • Advanced English language, bilingual.
  • Strong typing skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Availability to handle calls and work on claims‑related issues.
  • 1 year of previous experience in a contact center or customer support role.
Desirable
  • Previous experience in handling claims inquiries.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent written communication via email and chat.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in insurance is ideal but not mandatory.
