rochester-talent in Colombia seeks a Bilingual Reading Coach to support preschool literacy through engaging programs, resources, and activities designed to foster reading for pleasure.

You will provide guidance to teachers on selecting appropriate readings for curricula, coordinate school library activities, and promote early reading across classrooms.

Formación

• Professional degree in Education or related areas.
• Expertise in children's and young adult literature.
• Specialization in reading promotion.
• Minimum 3 years in reading promotion; 5 years in education; 2 years in school library management; basic technology skills.

Responsabilidades

• Promote reading for preschool students through programs, resources, services and activities.
• Advise teachers on appropriate readings to implement in curricula.
• Support teachers with reading-promoting strategies and library activities.

The Bilingual Reading Coach, contributes to the teaching-learning process in a significant way, encouraging reading for preschool students, through programs, resources, services and activities that encourage reading for pleasure, as well as advice to all teachers who require support in the selection of appropriate readings to be implemented in their curricula.

Professional degree in Education or related areas: Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Journalism, Philology or History.

Expertise or specialization in children's and young adult literature.

Courses, diplomas, certifications, seminars in reading promotion.

Specialization in reading promotion.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in reading promotion.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in education
• Minimum 2 years of experience in school library management.
• Basic technology skills.
