About the role

We’re seeking a skilled BackEnd Software Engineer to design and optimize scalable backend services, manage databases, and build secure APIs for seamless integration. You’ll implement CI/CD pipelines, manage infrastructure with IaC principles, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Azure is essential, with a strong focus on security and automation. Experience with networking principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design and develop scalable and efficient backend services to ensure high availability and strong performance of our applications.
• Database Management: Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing to support application requirements across a variety of tools and systems.
• API Development: Build and maintain robust and secure backend APIs. Ensure smooth integration with front-end systems and third-party services.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions. Focus on automation, testing, and deployment strategies across isolated environments.
• Infrastructure Management: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to define and manage infrastructure using modern tooling.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and product to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and developing scalable backend services.
• Strong skills in developing and optimizing database schemas, queries, and indexing to support various application requirements.
• Extensive experience in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in a development environment.
• High level of expertise in Python and SQL, with relevant experience in Azure services (Functions, LogicApps, Databases, APIM Gateway, App Services, etc.), Databricks, and Power BI.
• Familiarity with networking principles is a plus.
• English Proficiency, enabling effective communication and collaboration.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
