Infinita Consulting is seeking a Senior Backend Python Developer to lead design, development, and implementation of scalable backend solutions. You will guide the full software lifecycle and act as a technical reference for multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires strong Python experience, REST APIs, and knowledge of FastAPI/Flask/Django, relational databases, and solid testing practices. You will collaborate with global stakeholders and help drive code quality and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software/backend development experience.
• Strong Python backend experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience designing REST APIs and relational databases.
• Proficient in Git and version control.
• Experience with unit and integration tests.
• B2 English level or higher, with international collaboration experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, design, and development of backend services using Python in production environments.
• Design, develop, and integrate robust, secure, and scalable REST APIs.
• Participate throughout the complete software development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Design solutions considering scalability, maintainability, performance, and code quality.
• Integrate backend services with other systems, applications, and components within the technology ecosystem.
• Apply software development best practices, including Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in system performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and local/global stakeholders.
• Act as a technical reference and provide guidance to junior developers when required.
  

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software/backend development.
• Strong and recent hands‑on experience developing backend solutions with Python.
• Advanced Python knowledge and strong software development best practices.
• Experience with Python backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, and/or Django.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Experience developing unit and integration tests.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design principles, and backend application optimization.
• Experience throughout the complete software development lifecycle.
• Strong troubleshooting and complex technical problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
• B2 English level or higher, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams.
