Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an Azure Data Engineer to design and maintain robust data pipelines within the Microsoft data ecosystem. You will streamline data flow from raw sources to actionable insights, ensuring high performance and scalability with modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities include building end-to-end pipelines, optimizing architectures with Azure Synapse and Fabric, and enabling Power BI reporting. Strong Python/SQL skills and 4+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise with Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
• Strong Python and SQL skills for data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI integration.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and cloud-native data architecture.
• Proficient in English and able to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage end-to-end data integration pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
• Develop and optimize scalable data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
• Write and refine complex SQL queries and Python scripts for data transformation and processing.
• Orchestrate data workflows to ensure reliable delivery of analytics-ready datasets.
• Implement best practices for data modeling and storage to support Power BI integration and reporting.
• Ensure the integrity and security of the data platform through proactive monitoring and performance tuning.
