Guidepost Montessori busca un/a Assistant Teacher para nuestra escuela en San Rafael. Trabajará apoyando a niños de 0–6 años, fomentando su independencia, confianza y amor por aprender, cada día.

El puesto ofrece entrenamiento Montessori patrocinado, desarrollo profesional y un descuento del 75% en matrícula para dos hijos. Salario competitivo de 21–25 USD por hora y beneficios de salud, cuidado dental y visión.

Formación

• Experiencia con niños de 3–6 años en escuela o cuidado infantil.
• Actitud positiva, adaptable y colaborativa.
• Amor genuino por trabajar con niños pequeños.
• Interés en el enfoque Montessori; experiencia previa es bienvenida pero no obligatoria.

Responsabilidades

• Observar de cerca a los niños para entender y apoyar sus necesidades individuales.
• Ayudar a preparar y mantener un aula hermosa y ordenada.
• Apoyar actividades de aprendizaje individual y en pequeños grupos.
• Construir relaciones cálidas y respetuosas con niños y familias.
• Colaborar con Lead Guides y el equipo para crear una comunidad sólida en el aula.

At Guidepost Montessori, our Assistant Guides play a meaningful role in helping children ages 0–6 develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

What You’ll Do

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment
• Support individual and small-group learning activities
• Build warm, respectful relationships with children and families
• Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to create a strong classroom community

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset
• A genuine love for working with young children
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach (prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required)
