Liberty Specialty Markets is seeking an Assistant Director in Colombia to lead research, design, and build major modeling innovations for retail insurance products. You will own end-to-end development of gradient-boosted models, scale training workflows on AWS, and explore new techniques for structured data.

The role requires strong English communication, PhD (or Master’s/Bachelor’s with extensive experience), and a track record of delivering value from advanced analytics in a fast-paced

Formación

• Experience building gradient-boosted decision trees and model interrogation.
• Strong coding experience in Python with data and modeling packages.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and scale gradient-boosted models end-to-end.
• Build large-scale training workflows on AWS EMR or similar.
• Research new modeling techniques for structured and unstructured data.
• Own projects from research through deployment with teams.
• Assist with Earnix model implementations and tooling.
• Drive process improvements through automation and best practices.
• Engage with data science community and cross-functional groups.
