Liberty Specialty Markets seeks an Assistant Director, Data Science to lead Bogotá's new data hub. This hybrid role combines hands-on analytics with people leadership to mentor junior scientists and drive scalable ML operations.

You will partner with global teams to translate business objectives into analytical roadmaps, oversee model development, deployment, and governance, and attract top talent to the Colombia center.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field; Master’s preferred.
• 7–8+ years in Data Science, ML, or analytics.
• Proven leadership in data science teams, globally distributed.
• Strong coding in Python/SQL; experience with cloud platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a new Bogotá data science team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Design scalable model operations, monitoring, and deployment pipelines.
• Mentor junior staff and drive talent growth within the hub.
• Translate business goals into analytical roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with global teams to advance data science capabilities across the organization.
