Job summary

The International Committee of the Red Cross in Bogota is seeking a WeC Regional Manager to oversee weapon contamination programs across the Americas. You will provide assessments, guidance, and risk mitigation strategies impacting staff safety, operations, and civilians within the region.

Role requires advanced or equivalent degrees and extensive experience in management, planning, and training, with assets in EOD/CBRN.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• Minimum 5+ years in management, planning and training.
• Experience with weapon contamination, EOD or CBRN is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee WeC programmes in the Americas region and provide leadership.
• Provide technical guidance to delegations and national societies.
• Ensure compliance with IMAS/IATGs and Movement guidelines.
• Represent the ICRC on regional weapon contamination topics.

Education

Advanced degree (master's) or equivalent
