Outlier is seeking a QA Coder to review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft clear prompts. You’ll work with software engineers across Latin America on live AI training projects, with flexible hours and dedicated support.

Earn up to $34 USD per hour on core projects, plus incentives that boost average earnings by 7.5% and top quartile by ~11%. This is a 1099 contract opportunity, remote and freelance, with onboarding through Outlier's platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science from a selective institution.
• Experience contributing to a live production codebase at a tech company.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail in grammar, punctuation, and style.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code and flag errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues using structured guidelines.
• Rate responses across key dimensions - accuracy, instruction following, and presentation - to help improve model output.
• Write computer science questions and prompts that challenge AI models and push coding ability.
