Job summary

BairesDev is seeking an AI Engineer (MCP) to design and implement MCP servers that give LLMs access to external data and tools. You will connect advanced AI models with the broader technical ecosystem, ensuring reliable and secure interactions.

You'll work on tool calling design, integration with external systems, and latency-optimized communication. Strong English skills and 4+ years in AI/Software engineering are required; this is a 100% remote, globally distributed role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or related role.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing MCP servers.
• Extensive experience with tool calling design and connecting LLMs to external systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-grade MCP servers using Python or TypeScript to expose data and capabilities.
• Implement sophisticated tool calling logic and API integrations for AI agents.
• Leverage the Anthropic SDK to connect LLMs with external resources.
• Optimize the integration layer for low-latency communication between MCP hosts and remote/local servers.
• Define and manage standardized schemas for tools and resources.

As an AI Engineer (MCP), you will specialize in designing and implementing Model Context Protocol servers to provide LLMs with seamless access to external data and tools. You will act as a key link between advanced AI models and the broader technical ecosystem, ensuring that agents can interact with real-world systems reliably and securely.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop production-grade MCP servers using Python or TypeScript to expose specific data and capabilities.

• Leverage the Anthropic SDK to build robust connections between Large Language Models and external resources.
• Optimize the integration layer to ensure low-latency, accurate communication between MCP hosts and remote or local servers.

What we are looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related role.
