Job summary

Nu Skin group in Bogotá seeks a seasoned accounting professional to support US operations. The role focuses on bank reconciliations, unclaimed property reporting, and payment validation, requiring fluency in English and Spanish.

You will collaborate with Corporate and local teams to ensure accurate books and timely closing. Responsibilities include reviewing bank statements, preparing journal entries, and balancing the General Ledger at period end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting, bank reconciliations, or accounts payable.
• Professional-level English and Spanish (daily communication with US-based teams).
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, G/L structures).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Download and review bank statements; reconcile with accounting records.
• Identify and analyze differences between bank and book balances.
• Record adjusting journal entries with supporting docs; prepare reconciliations.
• Follow up on unresolved reconciling items; ensure GL balance at period close.
• Analyze pending payments, checks, credits, and refunds for unclaimed property.
• Prepare and submit unclaimed property reports; contact fund owners for due diligence.
• Review unprocessed vendor payments; notify vendors and departments.
• Prepare BlackLine tasks with balance sheet reconciliations.

Location: Bogotá, Colombia / Hybrid (office at Hotel Tequendama)About the RoleThis is a newly created position within the Accounting team in Bogotá, designed to provide direct support to Nu Skin's accounting operations in the United States. The person in this role will serve as a key liaison between the local team and Corporate, handling bank reconciliations, unclaimed property reporting, and payment validation.
