Softgic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions using .NET/C#, PostgreSQL, and Azure. This hands-on role includes end-to-end ownership from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.

The ideal candidate will combine strong backend engineering skills with an ownership mindset and will regularly use AI development tools while carefully reviewing AI-generated output.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development with .NET/C#.
• Strong PostgreSQL experience, incl. schema design & queries.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with automated testing & QA practices.
• Hands-on production systems support & debugging.
• Ability to design/maintain scalable software solutions.
• Daily use of AI-assisted development tools for coding & testing.
• Ability to verify AI-generated code and own its quality.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication across distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable apps using .NET/C# and PostgreSQL.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions using .NET/C#, PostgreSQL, and Azure. This is a hands‑on role with end-to-end ownership, from solution design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.

The ideal candidate combines strong backend engineering skills with an ownership mindset and is comfortable using AI development tools daily while carefully reviewing and validating AI-generated output.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST - On Site

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with .NET/C#.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, SQL queries, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure / cloud environments.
• Strong experience with automated testing and software quality practices.
• Hands‑on experience supporting, debugging, and resolving issues in production systems.
• Experience designing or maintaining scalable software solutions.
• Daily proficiency with AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and code review.
• Ability to independently verify AI-generated code and take ownership of its quality.
• Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across distributed teams and time zones.
