Liftedanupworkcompany is seeking a backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable systems. Based in LATAM, you will collaborate across product, data science, and design to deliver high-performance services.

You will engage in architecture, code reviews, and operate systems during business hours, using observability to drive improvements. Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and solid English communication are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Math/CE/EE with ≥2 years related experience, or advanced degree with no prior experience.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and backend tech.
• Experience building large-scale, high-performance systems.
• Excellent English communication across teams.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Key Responsibilities

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, or similar.
• Experience building and operating large-scale, high-performance, and resilient systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.

Location, Time & Engagement
