An international mobility group located in Santiago is hiring a Junior Financial Controller. The successful candidate will prepare financial statements, support decision-making through financial analysis, and assist in audits and compliance. This role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, fluency in both Spanish and English, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The position offers opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment for a duration of 12 months.

Formación

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
  • Initial experience (around 1 year) in audit, consulting, or finance-related roles.
  • Fluency in Spanish (minimum B2/C1) and English (minimum B2/C1) required.

Transdev is Hiring a Junior Financial Controller (VIE)
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
  • Support financial analysis to assist business decision-making
  • Produce reports, analyses, and ad hoc financial studies
  • Assist in the monthly closing process alongside the Financial Controller
  • Conduct risk analysis and contribute to risk mitigation actions
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits and support audit processes
  • Contribute to regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with financial standards
  • Support budgeting processes and financial planning
  • Assist project and tender teams with financial inputs
  • Implement and communicate financial policies from Group Finance
  • Contribute to action plan monitoring through internal tools (e.g., BWise)
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, ISO standards, and cybersecurity policies
Your Profile
  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Initial experience (around 1 year) in audit, consulting, or finance-related roles
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and accounting principles
  • Familiarity with IFRS and international auditing standards is a plus
  • Understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO) is appreciated
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial tools
  • Ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is required (minimum B2/C1)
  • Fluency in English is required (minimum B2/C1)
Your Destination

You will join the Finance Department of Transdev and work closely with the Financial Controller, contributing to the financial performance and risk management of the organization. You will be involved in key financial processes such as reporting, audits, and budgeting, while gaining exposure to international standards and group practices.

This position offers a great opportunity to develop your financial expertise in a dynamic and structured environment within an international mobility group.

This VIE assignment is for a duration of 12 months.
