Formación

  • 2-3 años de experiencia en el mercado energético.
  • Experiencia en consultoría y mercados renovables.
  • Dominio del español y el inglés.

Responsabilidades

  • Realizar due diligence técnico de activos eólicos y/o fotovoltaicos.
  • Evaluar rendimiento utilizando herramientas como WindPRO o PVsyst.
  • Monitorear proyectos en construcción para detectar desviaciones.

Job Description Summary:

We are Vector Renewables, an international renewable energy consulting company. As an independent advisor, we support our clients over the life cycle of a renewable project through three lines of business: asset management, technical advisory services, and financial and legal advisory services.

We are looking for a Technical Advisory Specialist willing to join our Team in Chile!

As part of the Chile Technical Advisory & Engineering team, the candidate will give technical support for Technical Due Diligence process of storage, wind and/or PV energy projects as well as perform activities such as general technical advisory services, construction monitoring, engineering design, and grid code compliance verification, among others.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical due diligence of wind and/or PV assets, which may include BESS.
  • Perform yield assessments using tools such as WindPRO or PVsyst.
  • Conduct site visits to operational projects to identify issues affecting long-term operation.
  • Visit terrains under development to detect risks related to terrain, restrictions, surroundings, and other constraints.
  • Design layouts of wind farms or PV plants using AutoCAD and PVcase.
  • Monitor projects under construction to detect deviations and issues.
  • Support construction teams in independent or owner’s engineering services.
  • Assist during the development phase of projects.
Key Requirements:
  • MSC in Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or similar.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the energy market.
  • Experience in consultancy and renewable markets.
  • Experience with TDD for projects in Chile.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Project.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Technical knowledge of wind and PV.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Chilean electrical market and regulations.
  • Chartered Engineer qualification is a plus.
  • Experience in other LATAM markets is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BESS.
  • Experience with energy plant or substation construction.
  • Familiarity with PVCase, WindPRO, PVsyst, or similar software.
