Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Air Force Cryptologic Office ISR-Cyber Branch, ensuring that intelligence tied to cyberspace complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and national-level objectives. Researches, interprets, analyzes and applies Service, joint and national-level policies and directives. Establishes policies and procedures for accomplishment of intelligence in support of cyberspace. Plans and schedules work in a manner that promotes a smooth flow and even distribution. Coordinates plans and schedules with other organization managers and customers as appropriate.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignments in consideration of skills and qualifications, mission requirements, and EEO and diversity objectives. Develops, modifies, and/or interprets performance standards. Explains performance expectations to employees and provides regular feedback on strengths and weaknesses. Holds employees responsible for satisfactory completion of work assignments.
Directs, participates and oversees intel support to cyber operations planning, organizing, and determines regulations, directives, and procedures for integration of HAF/A2/6, USCYBERCOM, and 16 AF (AFCYBER) program objectives within the Intelligence Community (IC) ensuring the provisions of personnel and ISR support to cyber operations. Directs, participates, and integrates Air Force cryptologic enterprise and cybersecurity partnerships and technology exchanges with National Security Cybersecurity Directorate in support of national defense objectives. Representation is considered authoritative by other parties in attendance i.e. Cyber Mission Force (CMF) training, Cyberspace Conferences, Cryptologic conferences, etc. Applies ISR technical expertise enabling AF Air Combat Command (ACC) in the development of Air Force and Joint policies and doctrine.
Represents Air Force Cryptologic Office ISR-Cyber Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with Service, joint and national offices. Meets with key customer and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve problems that arise. Provides or ensures that subordinates provide customer guidance and training. Participates in special projects and initiatives and performs special assignments. Identifies the need for special projects and initiates milestones and goals.
