Albemarle Chile is hiring a Lead Production Supervisor for the Salar plant in San Pedro de Atacama. The role ensures safe commissioning support, defines operation philosophy, and leads start-up and turnover to operations with strong focus on HSE, quality, and process discipline.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in chemical engineering or related field with 5–10 years of experience in chemical plant operations. English proficiency is valued.

Formación

• Mandatory university degree in chemical engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, metallurgy, mining engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering or related field.
• Desirable: certifications in operations management, process safety, lean manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• 5–10 years of experience in a production/operations role in chemical plants.
• English proficiency valued.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safe commissioning support and smooth handover from project to operations with defined controls (HSE, quality, process).
• Define operation philosophy, shift model, control room strategy, and field routines for lithium manufacturing plant.
• Establish SOPs, operating manuals, startup/shutdown routines, and abnormal condition protocols.
