Cloudera is building a hybrid cloud platform for enterprise customers based on Kubernetes and CNCF technologies. As a Staff Systems Engineer for Taikun APIs, you will help scale thousands of clusters and workloads while aligning with security standards and observability initiatives.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, with a focus on API features, K8s operators, and tooling in a remote-friendly setup.

Formación

• 6+ years of development experience of platform tools and systems (Golang or other languages).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
• BSc/MSc in related field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Improve scaling solution covering thousands of clusters and applications.
• Ensure platform compliance with security standards (e.g., SPIRE/SPIFFE) and FedRAMP-like certifications.
• Participate in new architecture design from scratch for observability standardization.
• Ensure upgrade paths for heavy stateful workloads on top of the platform.
• Implement new features to APIs, Kubernetes operators, and tooling.
