Job summary

Launch Potato is a remote-first discovery and conversion company. We’re seeking an experienced data scientist to build models that decide which carrier a user sees on our click wall and to own the buying models behind our media spend.

You will frame business problems, fetch data, build and validate models, and manage deployment and monitoring. An ML engineer will work with you on production, with auto insurance as the starting focus and expansion to other verticals over time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on applied data science with measurable business impact.
• Models drove paid media decisions: spend, bidding or ad serving.
• Explain loss function and architecture choices, incl. neural networks.
• Understand how today’s bids shape tomorrow’s training data, and handling drift.
• End-to-end ownership: data, deployment and monitoring.
