Speechify is seeking a senior Windows desktop developer to lead the design, architecture, and development of native Windows applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML (with possible C++ input when needed).

You will collaborate with product designers, QA, and fellow engineers to shape the feature roadmap, ensure accessibility, performance, and cross-version compatibility, and own features from conception through release and maintenance.

Formación

• 3+ years in Windows desktop application development using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML and optional C++.
• Strong understanding of Windows app architecture, including interop between managed and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production-quality desktop apps with focus on reliability and performance.
• Experience with accessibility APIs and building inclusive software.
• Excellent CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, memory management, multi-threading.
• Experience leading technical design, mentoring engineers, and code reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and optionally C++.
• Define and enforce best practices for Windows desktop development across the codebase.
• Drive accessibility efforts: UI Automation, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support.
• Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, QA, and engineers to shape feature planning and long-term roadmap.
• Own full lifecycle of features from conception to release and maintenance.
• Identify and resolve complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and compatibility issues.
