Senior Web Design Systems Architect — Remote

Blacksmith Agency LLC; Viña del Mar; Hybrid; CLP 89,021,000 - 128,586,000; Full time

Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC builds websites and marketing programs for clients across the US. As Web Design Systems Designer at Blacksmith, you own how our client design systems get built. You take a brand and reference sites, then extract the pattern into a working system: tokens, variables, modes, and core components a build pipeline can execute without asking you questions.

Precision is the job. This is a senior, systems-first seat. Not one-off pages, not maintenance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years designing for the web with design system work in portfolio.
• Fluency in Figma variables, component properties, auto layout, and variants.
• Portfolio shows multi-brand work with consistent design system rigor.
• Strong English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Build token architecture in Figma using variables, modes, and semantic naming our pipeline can read predictably.
• Ship core component libraries that hold up across an entire site, not just a homepage.
• Document the system so a developer or an automated pipeline can execute it without questions.
• Work across several client brands at once, each looking distinctly different, with the same structural rigor.
