Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY CHILE S.A. in Santiago is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager to lead medium to large-size projects and ensure execution in line with policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets and schedule commitments.

Responsibilities include project leadership, planning, execution and control, contract/claims management, procurement, stakeholder relations, and adherence to HSE.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Advanced level of Spanish and English.
• PMP certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leads the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating tasks, and monitoring resources to accomplish milestones.
• Defines project plans with the Project Controls department, including scope, budget, schedule and risk management.
• Monitors progress, manages costs, invoicing, cash flow, and risks; drives lessons learned and project close-out per contract.
• Manages contracts, claims and procurement, coordinating with Supply Chain and external/internal suppliers.
• Acts as key customer contact and escalation point, maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety and environment policies throughout the project.
