Bluelight is seeking a senior backend software engineer to join its growing team. You will contribute to backend services with Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS, building fast, secure APIs and scalable data models.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning, with flexible hours and remote work options, and opportunities to work on challenging projects for diverse clients.

Formación

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience building low-latency API services in AWS and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including Row-Level Security.
• Secure multi-tenant environments, raw SQL, and schema migrations.
• Professional experience with React and solid testing practices.
• CI/CD, overlap US business hours, Bachelor's degree, ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js/TypeScript.
• Build low-latency RESTful APIs and integrate with external services.
• Work with AWS (Fargate/ECS) to deploy containerized workloads.
• Manage PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and security for multi-tenant setup.
• Collaborate on frontend tasks when needed and implement tests with real DBs.
