BairesDev is seeking a Senior Java & Hive Engineer to design and build high-performance distributed query engine components for large-scale data processing. You will drive architectural improvements, optimize query performance, and mentor engineers while working in a 100% remote, globally distributed team.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Database Development, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Java and Apache Hive.
• Strong hands-on experience with database internals, SQL query processing, and query optimization using Apache Calcite.
• Demonstrated experience designing distributed query engine components and driving architectural improvements.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

As a Senior Java & Hive Engineer, you will design and build high-performance distributed query engine components to power large-scale data processing. You will drive architectural improvements and optimize system scalability, ensuring our data platform executes complex queries with maximum efficiency.
