Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior Java & Apache Flink Engineer to design and build high-performance, real-time data streaming pipelines and robust backend systems. You will focus on scalable distributed architectures that process complex event streams with low latency.

The role is 100% remote with compensation in USD or local currency, plus home-office setup and flexible hours. You will collaborate with a global Top 1% team and drive skill development and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience focusing on backend or distributed systems.
• Expertise in advanced Java development and backend architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Flink streaming pipelines.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and containerization.
• Experience with cloud-native development and distributed systems; strong English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable real-time streaming data pipelines.
• Write clean, efficient, well-tested code for backend and distributed systems.
• Define system architectures for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Integrate automated testing and robust CI/CD practices.
