The ideal candidate must have a Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling and at least 5 years of experience, with 3 years in a laboratory setting. Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling is required, along with Texas State licensure where applicable.

Formación

• ≥5 years of experience required, with ≥3 years of laboratory-relevant experience.
• Certified as a genetic counselor by ABGC.
• Texas State licensure as appropriate.

Responsabilidades

• Screen and review select germline genetic test orders.
• Assess patient’s clinical history and recommend testing.
• Provide clinical consultation services and communicate results.
