Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Electrical Designer to develop, coordinate, and review electrical design deliverables for EPC/EPCM projects. You will produce detailed drawings and 3D models, manage MTOs, and ensure compliance with project requirements and codes.

You will work closely with engineers, designers, and construction teams to deliver constructible, cost-effective solutions while mentoring junior staff and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in development, modification, checking, and finalization of Electrical As-Built drawings for EPC/EPCM projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for engineering drawings and As-Built documentation.
• Experience using SPEL and SmartSketch for electrical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design and drafting practices, standards, and codes.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings including SLDs and cable schedules.
• Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines and field verification activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and review electrical design and drafting for EPC/EPCM projects.
• Develop and oversee electrical deliverables for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate design interfaces and support clash detection.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, 3D models, MTOs, and work plans.
• Mentor junior designers and support project execution.
• Ensure timely, quality deliverables within schedule and budget.
