About Signant Health

At Signant Health, we help bring life‑changing treatments to patients faster. We are a global evidence generation company that supports clinical trials with smart technology, scientific expertise, and hands‑on operational support — so better data leads to better decisions in healthcare. We embrace AI and advanced technologies to enhance every aspect of what we do, from data analysis to operational efficiency.

Our teams work at the intersection of science, technology, and patient experience, delivering digital solutions powered by AI innovation that make clinical trials more efficient, more accurate, and more accessible around the world. Trusted by leading pharmaceutical companies and CROs, our platforms and services support studies across more than 90 countries and have contributed to hundreds of new drug approvals.

If you are motivated by meaningful work, global impact, and innovation in clinical research and digital health — including the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge AI technologies — you will find purpose and opportunity at Signant Health.

About the Role

Signant Health has embarked on an Enterprise IT application improvement strategy to “Enable Your Best Work”. We’re currently searching for a Business Systems Analyst with a strong focus on Business Relationship Management (BRM) and AI‑enabled solutions, working as part of the Business Unit IT team to act as a proactive strategic partner to the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong business mind and a proven ability to engage senior stakeholders not just on problems, but on desired business outcomes, obstacles, and options. You will bring BRM competency to bridge the gap between IT and the business, and leverage AI tools and capabilities to drive measurable improvements. You will have experience collaborating with other IT and business unit colleagues on implementing and operating these solutions.

Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimize the whole company’s productivity and nurture both project and program success from inception to completion.

What you will do

  • Understand the business processes and key strategies of the business unit to proactively identify desired business outcomes, existing obstacles, and technology or process options to overcome them — acting as a strategic partner, not just an order taker.
  • Become an advocate for both Enterprise IT services and business unit’s needs, applying BRM competency to align IT’s service portfolio with stakeholder goals and elevate conversations beyond transactional requests to enterprise‑value outcomes.
  • Elicit and clearly document business and system requirements.
  • Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements to ensure buy‑in from all stakeholders.
  • Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for functional testing; identify opportunities where AI and automation can remove friction, scale work, or accelerate business outcomes.
  • Provide business solutions and support the implementation of solutions through collaboration with Enterprise IT and business unit stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate leadership by managing projects for implemented solutions.
  • Own the responsibility for quality and timely delivery of solutions to the business unit.
  • Manage and administer any key applications that support the business unit.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues, including 3 rd party vendor support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analysis, IT or related field, or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience.
  • Three to five (3‑5) years in a business analyst, solution development and/or application administration role.
  • Exceptional self‑leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Strong documentation, process mapping and communication skills, being able to communicate complex technical matters in an easy‑to‑understand way.
  • Ability to manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner, applying BRM mindsets to engage stakeholders across run, grow, and innovate demand types; including managing multiple concurrent initiatives aligned to cross‑boundary value streams, not siloed functions.
  • Ability to develop, articulate, and present detailed business cases for any level audience.
  • Keen attention to detail, strong time management, problem solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Ability to facilitate and/or challenge decisions within or across teams leading to a collaborative outcome/plan.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and BRM capability: ability to lead outcome‑focused conversations with stakeholders, constructively challenge assumptions, and connect technology options to strategic business goals.
  • Working knowledge of AI and automation capabilities (including GenAI), with an ability to identify practical AI use cases within business processes and translate AI possibilities into business value conversations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Passion for the digital improvement and optimization of a growing business, including curiosity and comfort with AI‑driven change and innovation.
  • Global experience using teammates across the world to deliver projects.
  • Business Analyst Certifications and/or BRM Institute certification (e.g., BRMP or CBRM)
  • Experience with AI tools or GenAI platforms in a business context or demonstrated commitment to building AI literacy as part of continuous professional development.
  • Value stream, customer journey, or end‑to‑end process mapping experience, enabling cross‑boundary BRM engagement beyond siloed functional support.
